Hi all,
Does anyone know a good (cheap?) place to buy a clutch and a clutch slave cylinder for my 16v? I got quoted £95 for a clutch (not sure what make) and it sounded a bit high to me. What should they cost?
Also, does it matter what make I get? I've seen the thread about SKF clutch release bearings being much better than Valeo, but what about the clutches themselves?
Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

I put a genuine alfa clutch into mine a couple of years back and paid €150 for the clutch, pressure plate and release bearing.
Ive heard that the slave cylinder is the same as the one off the 156 V6. |

Sudmeister, are you in/ near Ruislip?
If so try Allparts, Shakespear rd, Watford. I got a slave cylinder there yesterday! Retail about £29+vat
They do valeo clutches too.

I have spies everywhere.
Had to think where i got Ruislip from and it may be alfaparts.co.uk.
I'm pretty close in Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. Go to Ruislip Lido regularly with my train mad nipper.
