Hi, I am just in the final point of my engine rebuild and the cam covers have been damaged at some point in the engines life probably due to a rough cambelt change! so i could do with a pair of plastic covers can anyone help Question cheers lee

hey guys, can any of you remember back to your school days where we used VACUUM FORMING. I would love to make the covers from clear plastic, for the Bling factor and being able to see if the belts are loose.

Al i use a set so clear you can't see them.......only joking personally i would leave them off, just make sure the front of the engine isn't prone to stones and small animals!.

Good point bobbber Laughing There must be some high melting point plastic forming plastic. Shame we couldn't get the original makers to inject their moulds with clear plastic.
