Hey guys any idea on how to fix this one?
It rattles but when you move it, it goes tight and is then not loose, but when in its normal resting place, it is rattles again??

Hi Al,
I reckon the captive nut on the spring tensioner has come loose so when you've got it in the folded back position there is still enough tension to stop it rattling but not so on the opened position.
Have a look at these photos to see what I mean:

I guess doing this nut up a bit will solve the problem but getting to it is difficult. I dont think only removing the mirror will give you enough room to get on the nut...........So the front will have to come off.........which will mean a bit of superglue on refitting as the lugs are bound to snap!

No Al it isn't but I'd be interested in it if you can find it.

Cheers.
