Is it possible to exchange my Series 2 dashboard (1.5 TI, 1987) to Series 1 (1.5 QV, 1985) ? I like very much this first series "wooden" wheel and old-school look of dashboard =)
Also i've got this controls (see att.) from 905 body. But I'm not sure it's original. How should QV controls looks like?

To me, S1 is the best dash of the lot. The blandness of S2/S3 was disappointing after the S1 style. The S1 clock cluster moves with the column, the buttons are up together above the receiver and not placed behind the wheel out of sight in S2/S3, looking like a styleless budget car. Having to look down to operate the windows* always annoyed me about my S2. It was a backward step, to me
QO dash
QO trip computer, with pen slots and vertical tray (perfect for a compact camera)
QV dash had a silver insert
QV extra gauges and trays (ok for small packets of sweets)
The slide-out glovebox tray is only big enough to hold the handbook wallet though
* annoyed me in my QO Alfasud too _________________ '83 Mk1 Gold Cloverleaf

Yeah, I think the series one interior looks the best too. My old S1 also came with the fishnet headrests, which I now have in my current series two car. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV
