I have my 16v engine 'on the bench' currently I'm going have the heads off and give it a bit of a freshen up. So, when I have, how do I set it up? I was going to mark all the wheels, but there must be a 'proper' way? _________________ 1977 Alfasud 16v

No harm in setting up TDC and 12/6 oclock marks and putting paint blobs onto cam wheel and flywheel marks whilst heads still on. Will also make it easier to find marks in future when engine in the car .
