What interest is out there for Veloce bumpers?
What price would you pay for new?
Any interest for Veloce bumpers made to fit the ser 3 with the dip in the middle for the grill between the lights?

Hi Alan, i think they are deff the best choice for a s2 33. If i had a s2 then i would most deff want the Veloce bumpers & skirts for it. Very Happy

Are you thinking of fitting some on your car?

Yup, I sure am. I know a fibreglass specialist who will copy the originals and make moulds to make more.
I plan on having mine modified so it will fit on the ser 3.
I guess no one else is interested.
It won't be for a while, I have to source some to borrow, the donor ones may need to be fixed if not perfect.

Give Paul a ring. About 18mths ago i bought 3 new Veloce bumpers (1 front, 2 rears), off him. I forget who he got them from but they were perfect. 1 of the rear ones turned out to be for a sportwagon and they all came with new metal bars & brackets too. I may have a spare front Veloce bumper you are welcome to if needed, i'll have a look.

The purpose of this thread was to find out if anyone is interested and how much they would pay for new bumpers, the more the cheaper.

Looks like i will just get them copied for myself.

I am surprised that no one has shown any interest, I think the Veloce bumpers look the nuts and when i owned a ser 2 i had the last front bumpers made as the original alfa moulds were thrown away, all 60 of them, i tried to find out who/where they were and why the moulds just couldn't be re-used. They were hard enough to get hold of then, now they must be near impossible.

You could offset the number plate like the new Alfa's , Adie made these from a 75 bumper with the added spacer just above the splitter, then had them narrowed to fit his 33 and a mold made. If you look at his race car its on it.

Eh?, now you not making sense, veloce bumpers were for a mark2, not a 3, so you would have to take a series 2 veloce bumper kit to fit a 3, is that mot modding Al?.
Also The deeper 75 bumper will give straight line stability with the splitter closer to the ground. Cool

I know the Veloce bumpers were for a mk2 lol I am taking a ser2 veloce bumper to get modded to fit a ser 3 Smile

What i was saying was why they took a 75 bumper and modded that to fit when a 33 veloce bumper would fit straight on.
I see what you are saying about the 75 splitter, i have never seen a 75 and 33 veloce bumper side by side.

If you want to lend one out, with the possibility of it being repaired to make a perfect mould, then yer Smile

thank you, it may need re-spraying afterwards.
To get an estimate could you post some detailed close pictures of the bumper so I can email the guy for him to see what’s involved, I have 2 ser 3 bumpers I can take pictures of for the valley bit in the middle for the ser 3 grill.

Thanks and thanks, it will just be used to make a mould, not modified and repaired. I would hate to waste a good bumper, so if anyone wants to buy it off you when its all done, the money will be yours.

I was trying to get a ser 2 bumper copied for ser 2 owners and get it modified to fit a ser 3, for ser 3 owners, I think you / Paul may have got a little confused Smile

I have 2 ser 3 bumpers if that’s what you really want. 1 is red, was brand new, not even been polished and I went and damaged it on a low curb. The other one is silver which was damaged by being towed too fast in the wet causing a crash, where the towing eye was pulled ½ way across the front of my car along with the bumper and bumper irons and engine bay mounting points.

I would be interested in a veloce bumper from a series 2 that is modified to fit a series 3

A Zender front spoiler would also do the job but they are as rare Heskey's goals for England!

Iv gone ahead and ordered the Lester bumper
Its a bit pricey but i just hope its going to look good once its on my car!
Got a 10-12 day delivery wait
