Would a series 2 car still run with the coil wired up the wrong way round? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Would I damage My coil doesn't show which is +ve and which is -ve. It may be the right way round already. Could I damage anything by swapping them over? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Yes but I believe the car runs better with it one way round than the other. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

hi, do not install the coil with reverse polarity! this will damage you electrical system. Find another coil that has + and - markings on the terminals and the same primary resistance.

I'm wondering whether the coil has been wired up the wrong way round for a long time? I've got two white wires going into the bottom of the coil and two green/black wires going into the top. Anyone know which of these would be +ve and which -ve? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV
