Hopefully fixed my occasionally strange feeling brakes with a master cylinder change. Got a new Delphi (part #=LM22500) item.
Gave reservoir a thorough clean whilst off, and brake system complete bleed through, and brakes now feel pretty good- refitted brace plate too.
Yellow gunk mess is waxoyl. Took the opportunity to tip a bit in whilst access was there.
New cylinder
Squeaky clean reservoir
Cylinder and plate fitted
Job Done

Nice job John.
I replaced the fluid the other day and that was a huge improvement. So nice not to have to give yourself several miles braking distance eh? |
