It's been a long and accidential (not in a crash since) road with this one, I originally purchased it without an M.o.T for it's low mileage engine and gearbox, destined to be donors for my 33 Racer should it need them.

Only to discover how few of these cars still existed (as a result of this forum in fact), much less were "roadworthy". Several months after purchase I had a chance to actually see the car (yes bought sight unseen) and discovered that it was in very good nick, for much of its life it must have been much loved, but recently fallen on hard times.

Anyway a new clutch, service and some welding to the rear suspension by the Autolusso boys and she now sports a brand spanking new M.o.T. On the drive back from Autolusso I discovered the gearbox to be crisp, the 1.7 IE pulling like a train and the engine note better than an opera singers best efforts.

The 33 will be heading into the paintshop soon to have a rust spot or two fixed and then she'll look as good as she sounds and drives.

But there are a couple of minor interior items that need attention;

1) A drivers side air vent, the bottom little flap has broken off so I need a new one, anyone got one or know who to contact?

2) The "climate" control fan only comes on when put on high. Don't know what the gizmo that controls the fan speed is call but I need one of those as well, any ideas.

3) Needs a new bonnet release cable, anyone got one?

I'll post some pictures shortly, but at the moment she is wearing an odd collection of wheels and it just wouldn't be fair to show her in that state, but I can tell you her colour.... Alfa Red

Great news, well done for saving the 33!

Alex (33 bits) on here might have the parts you need.
