Anybody know if you can fit the 16V brakes into a series 1? At the very least Im thinking of fitting the rotors and calipers on the front and hopefully on the rear although Im not too sure about that with the handbrake to consider. Does the master cylinder/hydraulic lines need to be swapped out as well? _________________ 1985 33, getting faster every day. |

Yes you can and you can swp rear axles or if only the ends . Regarding rear handbrake , the only change is the handbrake cable which need to be for disks . I have a complete guide with pics for this... |

Awesome, I've decided to try the VL commodore calipers with magner rotors combo on the front brakes, but Ill keep your suggestion about the rear brakes in mind, depends how much of a difference the front upgrade makes _________________ 1985 33, getting faster every day. |
