My masochistic streak has got the better of me again and despite the uproar have brought home another non-driving 33 (see 'Head gasket')... Now, before I start falling out with my insurers too, has anyone heard of a 1.5ie Sportiva? That's what it says on the log book! I can only assume it's some kind of limited edition (UK Sept'91 reg) and hence the P4 style rear spoiler,fog lamps,leather rimmed wheel and P4esque 13" alloys. Just wondering if anyone's heard of it (as I sit in the dog-house waiting for the gaskets to arrive...)!

Hi Paul, hate to spoil the possible rarity, but I a few of my 33s had sportiva on the log book. One was just a `94 33 16v. Not sure why they had the name tag applied though.

hi i saw one in breakers yard it had alloys slightly slanted 5 spoke and wooden steering wheel gearknob basic interior it was a ser 3

Those sound like the alloys (mine's missing hubcaps of course) and my interior is basic spec apart from the 'wheel. It actually has a 'Sportiva' badge on the tailgate too. Guess I will have to wait to see whether the insurance folk are bothered by extra tag..

, hi , those alloys you describe were an optional extra at the time( got a 33 acessory catalogue here with wheel you describe).
