Hi guys,

Considering changing to an electrical fuel pump and regulator but on a budget.

Also where can I get the metal plate to block off the mechanical fuel pump opening?

What about this Facet pump and regulator?

this is what i use http://www.lkperformance.co.uk/filter-king-fuel-pressure-regulator/fse/filter-king-fuel-pressure-regulator-67mm-metal-bowl-8mm-tails/218749

Easy to fit in line to your carbs pump 1st of course then the regulator, pump is more than capable if you go for larger carbs / engine mods.

thks Oggie.

Yes those ones (very popular and good) I saw but are a bit out of my budget. Sad

Of course if it was a race car I would go for these but just for daily driving I thought the facet would be fine.

Also still looking for a course for the blanking plate.

Any ideas/

ok was chatting with woody on the other forum and we have come up with a plan.

A cunning plan.

Buy the push type facet pump with plastic casing - 4 psi.

Fit it just on the outlet of the fuel tank where the rubber pipe joins it.

Use my broken rear demister power line to hook up to the pump and use the cabin demister switch to control the pump.

I could have the switch inside reversed so when it's depressed the pump comes on when the ignition is turned on before the starter motor is turned on.
If I need to overide the pump and turn it off then just press the demister button!
