Yeah don't give up on this 33, new exhaust rubbers and a t cut...
Would be funny to put it on pistonheads, like when you see those sheds and the advertiser says something like "there's no reason this car shouldn't pass an mot with a little work".
Have you ever considered making a 33 rear end trailer Alex? I remember a neighbour chopping up a mk1 golf to make a trailer for his mk1 gti cab- looked great when he'd made and painted it.

John you have hit the nail on the head with a very big accurate hammer, i am currently building a 33 pick-up, have a grey 16v sportwagon & chopping/welding to create the pick-up rear end. (my mate Alan who is painting my M reg 33 is helping with the job). This black p4 back end was chopped with a trailer for the pick-up in mind.

A ha. I like the trailer idea. I think my old neighbour sealed up the front of his golf trailer with a golf bonnet
