I've seen these wheels in a brochure for the 33, but now I can't find the details. Does anyone have any details on these alloys?

I did have an s3 accessories brochure which of course I now can't find, but I'll look deeper.
I can't remember seeing these in there though.
They look like the 'BBS' type wheels that were popular on golfs and the like mid 80's so maybe they were offered for the sud or s1 or s2 33?

I've got all the 33 accessories brochures & these are not in any Paul. Are you sure they are Alfa? I'm not convinced. _________________ 155 sportpack

I think yours are a set of BBs stylie copies hailing from the mid eighties. They were pretty popular then, I remember them even being fitted to Hyundai Ponys when I worked at a Hyundai garage.

Ha, no messing from Iain here, straight out with it. "They look shit" hee hee, I like you're style Iain. .
Paul, I like the wheels but not sure they suit a 33, would look better on an old 3 series BMW or poss a Golf. (Sorry to swear on this forum with those 2 words) _________________ 155 sportpack

I thought they looked a bit like rather dated Halford's wheel trims.

They are Exip wheels, there is (was) an identical design by Exim.
If you Google Exip or Exim Mesh you will see that they are popular with VW owners. |

That's brilliant.
I owe you a drink, whoever you are
I will check for any identification next time I take a wheel off .
I also now know where I thought I'd seen them before for 33s:
Not in a brochure (I was confusing that with some other alloys), but some similar wheels that Alfa Romeo put on the Alfa 33 Free-Time in the 80s
Definitely 80s styling then. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

As much as they look like Exim/Exip, they are in fact Ronals. Not sure that makes much difference, but there we go. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV
