33 16v boxer cloverleaf permenant 4.
To replace the waterpump, do you have to dismantle the cam belts? Or is it possible to work around them with care?
Cam belts only replaced 10k miles away.
many thanks

Hi there,
you will have to take belt off on n/s, and rad out to do the job.if you look on older post's you will see how to time it up,it's easy to do,trust me i've been there, the water pump is a bitch to get out,you will proberly have to smash it out that's what i did when i had an 8v before the 16v conversion.hope that help's and welcome
all the best

I remember a guy did post in the last couple of months that he wangled the water pump out with the cam belt in place.
Might be easier to rebuild Wigan Casino! _________________ 16v p4 In pieces. |
