Hi all!
My water sprinklers suddently stopped working today.
The sprinkler tank is filled with water but it sounds like the pump is not working.
What do you suppose is wrong?
Is there a fuse for the sprinkler pump or a cable I should check somewhere?
Thanks! |

check for rust on the plug that goes to the pump. the pumps are very cheap to buy. you can test it by running some power to it from a spare battery. if its dead then you can get replacement motors from most major motor factors.
maybe if you have a rear washer too, you could swap the pumps to test the system.

Just had exactly the same problem on my latest white series 2. Not fuse as this is same fuse as for wipers. If not rusty contacts as Luke has said can be break in the wires leading to it, as has just happened to me. I cut the wires and added new contacts to the pump. Also then my jets weren't working very well so pulled motor out of water tank and cleaned the little plastic perforated disc/filter at the end which was covered in gunk. With a tiny nail you can lever it out. Now the jets are full on. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

My window washers weren't working because the one-way valve in the tube going to the jet nozzles wasn't letting water through. I just took it out and rejoined the tube by dipping one of the ends in hot water until I could fit it over the other. |
