Having polycarb'd the Sud (series III, Ti), we now the following available free to the first who can get here (Wincanton, South Somerset) to collect:

Door glass - both sides, inc quarterlights
Boot lid glass
Rear light cluster (OS indicator cluster)

Mark,

I've got a few questions for you.

How are your new windows fitted (did you thermoform the polycarb to the original glass contours?)
How much did the window set cost?
Where did you get the material from?

The reason being I would like to do the same to my Sud

Hi Ad

We got our polycarb from a local DIY store - Wincanton Wood Centre. Poly carb isnt cheap, but we bought 4mm sheeting and took the old windows out, used them as templates and then chopped them out with a jigsaw, checked for fit and used an angle grinder to sort any oversized bits.

As its a race car, and not at all for road use, we arent too concerned about finish. The front doors have been gutted, and the polycarb is held up with ally channel below and blind rivets round the sides and top. Rear and side windows are just blind rivets.

I'll get some pics and post them up here sometime soon.
