All,
When speeding into a corner, I experience 'roll' of the car. Meaning it tips way too far over to the outside of the corner.
I'd like to reduce this roll. Are the shocks or springs responsible for this? Maybe both?

Hi,
Shocks are supposed to only influence the rebound. Harder shocks should not affect the bump but will stop the car from rebouncing when the bump is over.
Springs are responsible for the bounce. Stiffer springs will be harder to cpmpress so your car will tip over less.
Installing a anti-roll bar is another option for you. (unless you have a 1.7 16V which by standard have such a bar).

springs.
our drift car needs as little roll as possible and we run 11.5kg front springs and 9.5kg rears. on a car that only weighs 1140kg.
we found that after the stiff springs, uprated antiroll bars were not needed. however uprated antiroll bars are cheaper than coilovers.
some people get a pair of ARBs and weld them together to create a double strength bar. this very cheap and works well.
our dampers are also bound and rebound adjustable. so the shocks can help control both parts of the travel.
if you want to change your springs then change the shocks too. both are old and upgrading just one part of the system isnt a good setup.
if you dont have an anti roll bar then get one from a 33 that does and make it fit your car. it will help loads.
also i found that the old rubber bushes on the car are worn out by now and new poly' ones help loads!
