Before I get any more calls I have taken a deposit on the sale of the car mentioned below.

I have lost interest in my 1990 vintage 1.7 8V Cloverleaf Sportwagon since someone stopped abruptly in front of me (in mid-March this year) and resulted in damage to bonnet, front bumper, o/s headlight and o/s front wing. I obtained a replacement headlight off E-Bay and began looking to sort out damge.

However whilst I had the bumper off the car some bozo must have kicked the n/s headlight (over the weekend of England's 2nd group game in the world cup) and smashed it and this put me off goig any further with repairing the bonnet and wing.

The shame of it is that I bought a new clutch kit at the start of 2006 and had it fitted at the start of February. Since then the car probably hasn't done more than a few hundred miles. The engine and gearbox are sound enough and the the front tyres have a generous amount of tread on them.

The MOT has since lapsed and I don't really want to throw any more money at it if all I'm going to do is scrap the car.

So before I do that would any one in south east England (North Kent) like to cover what I spent on the clutch (ca £80) to take it away for repair or breaking up?

Hi Pat,

Sorry to let you know that Dave who appears on this website and is the local Alfa 33 registrar has been to see the car this evening. We have agreed a price and he's even left me a deposit. Unless he changes his mind(in which case I'll let you know) in the next few days he arranging to come round and collect the car next weekend.
