my 33 16v is running ok but not quite right, its not very fast especially uphill, i only just stayed with a corsa 1.2 twinport the other day - the shame!!!!!!
i`ve replaced the plugs ,leads (magnavox or whatever they are called £60 they were)the dizzie and rotor arm, plus i have replaced the injectors ,fuel pump, fuel filter and the regulator for one of those fse powerboost ones.
still no good, i have noticed when the accelerator is touched very gently it backfires from one of the chokes, now i think i have got a sticking valve maybe due to a dodgy follower which is a total bstard because it is a nightmare to get the rocker cover off to have a look as i am now finding out.
any idaes what else it could be - i have also checked the timing all seems ok and if it wasnt i thought it would backfire on the other choke on the same side aswell.
cheers steve _________________ brum brum |

Have you had a good check for air leaks on the inlet side of things? |

i`ve swapped over the followers and i will finish it off tomorrow, if its still the same i will have a look at the chokes and reseal them _________________ brum brum |
