Just got a Superchip for my car and wondered if anyone had fitted one? I opened the ECU and it appears that the standard chip is soldered in. I thought it just pulled out and the new one pushed in with no soldering required. Anyone know if this is the case? |

Hi,
My 16V has a socket that you can remove the original eprom in and replace it with another eprom, which I have done. Got a picture we can look at? _________________ Scott Sander

yeah I'd already looked at the squadra site for the installation guide, thanks Tino - I think I've got the right chip, I held the Superchip against it and it was the same size but I'll check again |

I've worked it out now - the top part of the chip just lifts away and the new one pushes into place, easy really! thanks for the help |
