Okay, i basically want a bit more peformance from my series 3 16v , mainly more torque and better acceleration. I have a K&N panel filter, and im soon putting on an exhaust set up from the catalyst back. Besides this, what else can i do? I dont want to go forced induction, but what other things can give power gains? Any advice? thanks _________________ 91 Alfa Romeo 33 16v * SOLD*

Hi Errol,
You could go for a chip from Autodelta or Squadra chips (though I'm not sure it's worth it), You can fit some colombi&bariani camshafts, larger valves, lightened crankshaft, forged pistons, the works (but that ought to cost a lot )
You can check some of this kind of stuff here

All the best

How much of a performance improvement would a panel filter, without uprated exhaust, make to the 16V? _________________ Hugh B

Minimal if any. Best thing about the washable filters are that they are washable. _________________ Scott Sander

So uprating the exhaust with the better filter already there WOULD make a difference? _________________ Hugh B
