Hi all , I have a question for you, me s2 used to have a header tank with sensor for the coolant level, does any one remember what color the 2 wires are for this, the only ones that are currently wired together (straight through) are a blue and white cable to a brown one, are these the 2 I need to put back to the sensor?.

Well I've got one black and one brown and white going to the header tank sensor in my F reg TI.
I take it you're going for the cable on ebay. Don't forget that I've got a good 2ndhand one if it goes up too much.

Yes, they are brown and white (bit slow replying to this one! Laughing )

They're not very good anyway them there sensors - they clog up with bits from the coolant and stop sliding up and down properly after a while. Open the bonnet weekly and have a look is my advice.
