is it called
Idle actuator control valve
Idle control valve
Is there any special replacement procedure, as in disconnecting the ECU?
I ask this as i have just cleaned mine and noticed that when it was connected but not insitu, it had trouble closing fully when the ignition was turned on, there is a hum/buzzing. I think i may have damaged it as i tried to force it open when lubricationg it.I can get the valve to close with no force but now the car wont idle unless the valve is disconnected. _________________ x2 33 16v

lol
dun, so must be fooked, manual just says that if hunting occurs when connection is removed, then replace. I did try resetting the ecu.
Can anyone give a technical explanation on how it works in combo with the ecu controlling the rpm? As mine seems to idle just fine without it connected, thanks. _________________ x2 33 16v
