It's been 7yrs since I logged in after selling my 33. Nice to see some of the same folks about.
Since then I've had a Saab 900 turbo and BMW 325 in Melbourne. Then moved back to NZ and got a Volvo 850t5 and a Saab 9000 Aero.
Recently, my best mate rings up and tells me he has just bought two 33's
I tuned the carbs for him today on the 1.5. You couldn't get the grin off his face after he took a test drive.
I haven't done those webbers in such a long time, I searched the pages and didn't find much. So I "googled it" and found a great wee piece that I thought might be handy for folks wanting to tune their carbs.

I had to disregard his comments about idle/air turn amounts and just be subjective about it. However the write up is easy to understand and reasonably concise.
Thanks folks and hello again |
