|
|
As above really, I did a carb conversion a while back on a 16v out of a scrapped 146. When i was doing the initial setup, i was advised to replace the jets and choke off my DRLA 40's (as fitted to the 1350 33 engine) with the following:
32 chokes
135 mains
60 idles.
Ive since had the setup checked more closely and it seems that its leaning out at high revs and Ive been advised to change the emulsion tubes and air correctors as a starting point and go from there. Had it on a rollingroad today and the leaning isnt as bad as initially indicated on a gas analyser but I'd still like to fine tune it and get it right.
So the question, does anyone know the standard jetting for the 1.7 8v or even better, recommend tested specs for this conversion?
Thanks,
edit: A search threw up the specs webers posted back in 06 . Mine are DRLA 40's. Would the spec for the webers apply to the dellortos? |
