Has anyone fitted tesco flat wiper blades to the front windscreen?
In the past i have fitted standard bosch blades and have tried with spoilers to prevent lifting.
I went back to standard alfa romeo ones as all others are too heavy, bulky and ended up being pushed into the screen and slowing down.
I just bought a 16" tescos flat wiper blade at £3 for the rear and notice a huge block in the middle. I am concearned that this might have the same affect as the other non original alfa blades.
Comments please guys. _________________ x2 33 16v

Have had them on my car for 2 years now, like oem wipers they need changing now but for performance wise they are good, no problems with high speed/wind and heavy rain, the motor copes just fine and just imagine how much fuel you could save al over a year as these are really light.....................unlike your sound system!! _________________ PHAT 33 |

Are you talking about Tescos aero blades?
I still get 35mpg, it is not a race car and I prefer a little weight over a crappy sound system _________________ x2 33 16v

Got Bosch ones front and back without any problems.
I'd guess 'alfa romeo' ones are probably bosch or valeo.

John, are to talking about flat blades or standard types?
In the past only original standard alfa romeo blades worked properly, other makes, inc bosch were too big / heavy and slowed down.
I am asking if anyone has tried tesco flat blades, i am worried that the big block in the middle will cause the blade to slow down, like when using non original standard ones. _________________ x2 33 16v

its not the cost, its that big fat block in the middle, I dont think i could live with it. It looks bad enough on the rear window, let alone on the front. _________________ x2 33 16v
