Bit confused now with refitting the pistons and directions of arrows and big end rods.
Readin the manual it states the left bank should point downwards and right upwards. Is this correct? I believe 1 of mine was put in the wrong way. They had 2 mm of black crud on them and once cleaned I couldn't recall 100% but 80% sure one of the left bank pistons was pointing downwards.
Also I was knackered and it was dark and cold when I removed the rods. -
Do all of the rod ends (crank side) point in a downwards trend or are they reversed?
Damn it I should have payed more attention. Live and learn!

Looks like all the rod ends point downwards which makes sense otherwise you couldn't access the bolts.
