Hi all. Before xmas I bought an FSE Power Boost valve (for the 16 valve 33) from someone on this discuusion forum. Unfortunately when my car was being serviced at Allitalia in Wrexham recently, they attempted to fit the boost valve to my car but the connections on the unit were not the correct size to fit the connectors on the fuel lines. The garage checked with the FSE website and the part I had was the right one but they reckoned it did not fit because my 33 is a very late car (M reg) with many 145 style bits and pieces.
The boost valve is a great bit of kit as it smooths out low down power delivery and cures hesistancy. But it won't fit my 33. It should fit an earlier 16 valve so if anyone is interested I am reselling it for £30 plus postage, which is what I paid for it. Cheers Paul.
