| Hello all - just took my car to my alfa mechanic to hear the sound coming from the gear box. The rattling noise only comes when I take my foot off the accelerator pedal in 1st and 2nd gear. my mechanic said there was a shell or a case on the exhaust that was loose. I'm not too sure if i've explain this properly but does anyone know what part of the exhaust (associated with the gear box noise) is loose. Ta |

Sounds like just loose heat shields on the exhaust pipe. If so then not massively important just annoying.
