Well, not quite, but whenerver I turn the wheel alot, the section behind the steering wheel which hosts the indicator and wiper stalks and the ignition barrel, suddenly starts sparking! Then the radio switches off!
What the hell??? |

You can say that again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the hell???
Seems that you got serious electrical issues on your car...
I cant give you any clue to what it can be, because i never saw any trouble like the one that you describe...
Does your car have a alarm? - Most electrical troubles on Italian cars (not just Alfas), came from dodgy alarm installations...
Some onwers, install a alarm, and when it comes to sell the car, he removes it again, and the new onwer does just the same...
You can imagine the mess that creates on the electrical installation...
On my car i removed, almost 3 metres of wires that were no longer in use...
Still didnt solve the electrical passanger window, because the drivers switch operates but at snail speed...
Take the cover from the steering rack and try to locate were are the sparks comming from...Thats my best advice...
And dont drive the car until you locate and solve that trouble...
I´ve saw cars that went up in flames for no reason...
Good luck

Hi,
In agreement with Bellamachinna, it's probably not Alfas wiring but some iffy DIY job.
Someone has probably taken an ignition live off up near the ignition barrel or something to feed the radio. You need to remove the cowling and suss it out asap.
