Hi all...

I was wondering, if the alloys, from the 145/6 Junior would fit in my 33 16v...

That`s almost impossible to get decent tyres in 185/60 R14 (with sporty characteristics), and in 15`, the choice is bigger...
Do anyone knows, if they will fit, or do i need anything else...???
Will i be able to use the same studs???

Any help will be apprecieted

Hi

I have Yokahama A539 tyres on the P4 in 185/60 14 sizes. Work OK.

Think you can use 145/6 alloys, but you will need spacers to get the offset correct and also enlarge the size of the centre hole in the wheel slightly. (only by 1mm or so).

There is a wonderful blue series 3 33 usually parked in the street next to mine wearing those exact 145/6 alloys.
I drool everytime I walk by it!

Can you find GoodYear F1?

Big= few mm 3-4 were on Lucas Alfa (author of AR33 disc list)
Usually you do need longer bolts but it all depends on how thick spacer is and how are bolts you have right now.

Hi

Offset is the distance between the mid point of the wheel (width wise) and the mounting face of the wheel.

Seems most 145/6 wheels would only need a fairly small spacer, but using them from a Cloverleaf / TI would need fairly substantial spacers.

Thanks, for the replies...Now, i understand what is "offset"...
However, i always presumed that 145/6 wheels were "caried over" from the 33.
But, according to the list, the Alfa 145/146 1.4/1.6/1.7 16V have a 43 mm, but the 33, all have 39 mm...

The alloys, that i was considering, are presumably. from the 50mm type Confused

Is there any marking in the alloys, were i can confirm this, or i have to measure one??

Hi there. The 145/6 rims have a centre bore slightly smaller (about 0.5 or one mm) and can do with a bit of grinding off. Never force it in. You definately need spacers esp for the rear. It touches the trailing arm. I think I got away with 6mm spacers and still seats in the centre bore. Can't remember exactly but you'll get a very clear picture once you try to fit them in.
